This unique deck planter box does not sit on top of the rail to tip over or block your view.  Nor does it hang with flimsy hangers that say, “one size fits all rails”.  Sure, all rails except yours.  And there will be no need to drill into your beautiful deck.  I tried them all with no satisfaction, so I built my own.  This unique design uses a beautiful Redwood back plate and hardware to attach your planter using the rails. Any rails. This design allows for use with both vertical and horizontal rails.  This planter box is made of beautiful Redwood.  It is approximately 22 1/2” long, 8 “wide, and 6” tall.  I have attached lots of pictures.

All planters come with three 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square sturdy plastic pots.  These pots will allow you to move particular plants into or out of the sun.  You can now change the placement of all your plants.  The pots are very easily removed from your planter if impending weather is coming.  Spring hail can sure do some damage to plants, flowers, and herbs.  But not anymore.  The pots are very useful for the seed starter.  Not only can you start your seeds in the containers indoors in early spring, but you now have the perfect place to acclimate your plants each day by taking them in an out of your planter.  These pots will also extend the life of your planters as very little moisture will come into contact with the planter wood itself.

When ordering the 2 variations I have are very important so that the planter box you receive will be customized especially for you and will fit your deck the way you envisioned it.

Rail Spindle Thickness
This is the thickness of your rail spindle. I need this measurement so that I am sure the hardware length I send will fit perfectly.

Back Plate (Reference Picture with Back Plate Measurement Directions)
Using the size of the planter box (22 1/2") and a tape measure lay out where the planter will be placed on your deck and make sure there are no rails at the placement where you would like the back holes drilled.  Again, so this custom planter box will attach right in that perfect place you choose.

Can't seem to add another variation so message me when you order if you prefer Modern or New England.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks,

Ken
